US ratings agency Moody's out with their latest review on Russia 10 May 2016
- sees growth in current quarter and modest positive growth in 2017
- spill over from Russia's recession is contributing to slowdown in growth in all CIS countries
- Kazakhstan is the only CIS country that retains an investment-grade rating
- terms of trade shock related to Russia's recession drives negative credit outlook for 9 rates sovereigns in CIS region over next 2 years
- outlook assumes that regional growth will bottom out this year before recovering modest momentum next year. This is in line with expected mild upticks in commodity prices.
