Uk foreign secretary Hague has spoken to Russian foreign minister Lavrov to call for de-escalation of activity in Crimea
- calls for respect for Ukraine sovereignty.
Last night US President Obama warned Russia of “costs” if they militarily intervene in Ukraine
Any violation of Ukraine sovereignty would be deeply destabilising
I have to head out now ( churlish to say but football match still going ahead in Southend ) but the BBC is running a decent update thread here.
