Westpac on the RBNZ - expect on hold in H1 2020

A view on the Reserve Bank of New Zealand from WPAC

  • See a cut in August of 2020 (of 25bps) but on hold in the first half of next year

Westpac had previously been forecasting the RBNZ to cut in H1 next year, now say a Feb. cut is looking unlikely.
