Nasdaq up 100 points (or 1.37%)
The US stocks are running higher and higher. I am not sure there is a lot to it fundamentally. Apple was upgraded to "buy" from "neutral" at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, reversing a call it made in November. That helped. Boeing is down about 7% still after the plane crash in Ethiopia, but the other Dow stocks has helped tilt the bias back higher.
Technically, the Nasdaq index is back above its 200 day MA at 7480.60 (trading at 7507.
The S&P is also back above its 200 day MA at 2751.09. It trades at 2769.71.
