CNBCs pundits on the Half Time report talking positively
The Nasdaq and S&P indices have seen some of the losses retraced. The bounce corresponds with some positive "what if" comments from Josh Brown, and Stepanie Link and Pete Najarian on the Half Time Report on CNBC. They are talking up the US over alternatives and even adding "If Europe and China recover....". Steve Liesman is adding an investor sentiment survey that talks about investment climate is improving.
Technically, the market is getting a boost from the holding of the 200 hour MA on the Nasdaq. That index got within about 2 points of the 200 hour MA at 7580.11 area (low reached 7582.08). The current price is at 7616.70, down -74 points still but well off the lows.
The S&P is at 2798.71 after falling to 2787.72 at the lows.
