Final reading from the New York Fed
The first official reading on US GDP was released today and showed growth at a 2.6% pace but revisions are coming and the New York Fed's GDP tracker indicates they will be lower.
In their final estimate for the quarter, they pegged growth at 2.09%.
Looking ahead to the third quarter, they trimmed their estimate to 1.92% from 1.95% last Friday.
"The effect of news from this week's data releases was small, leaving the nowcast for both quarters broadly unchanged," the New York Fed said.
