- North Korea says US bombers, escorted by fighter jets, carried out surprise drills simulating attacks on major North Korean targets
Of course Pres. Trump will be leaving for the Far East tomorrow. I would expect that the military in that region will be on high alert and that training exercises are par for the course.
In response, the US Air Force is now saying:
- Exercise was planned in advance and was not in response to any current event.
- US bombers were accompanied by Japanese and South Korean fighter jets
