More on the German extension of labour market subsidies to end 2021

German coalition parties agreed to extended jobs subsidies out to the end of next year:

• Germany said to have extended its wages support program through to the end of 2021

These were to have expired in March 2021.

Also extended are:

• aid for small and mid-sized companies until the end of this year
• measures aimed at holding off on bankruptcies (irms permitted to delay filing for insolvency until the end of the year)
