- Russian border guard authorities have taken the boats to Kunashiri Island, one of the disputed Russian-held islands off Hokkaido
- Russian authorities suspect there are gaps between the amount of fish caught by the boats and the figures recorded in their daily logs
Awaiting any further details. This might be triggering, or at least contributing to, some yen cross selling - geopolitical tension often sees a flow into yen and out of 'risk' on a 'flight to liquidity' basis.
