The EUR had a choppy night but has ended the day lower against all of the majors, particularly against the Yen. It will be interesting to see what the Japanese authorities do or say today, now that USD/JPY is again inching towards the 75 handle.
Traders will as usual ignore all the Japanese economic data, and it’s unlikely if UK consumer confidence or Australian business confidence will have much effect.
EUR-related headlines will still move the market, but probably less so during the Asian session.
