China bans beef imports from another Australian firm

China has suspended beef imports from the firm due to detecting a banned substance.

Just as the AUD was ticking a little higher .... a reminder of the strains between the two countries. Even if this is a pure 'banned substance' issue its difficult not to read the action in light of tensions with China on other matters.
