UK television report (ITV), although its not new news really. BJ has held on to the card of suspending parliament.
Says the report:
- Johnson was questioned by ITV News Political Editor Robert Peston whether he would commit to not proroguing Parliament, however the prime minister avoided the question.
BJ then entered parrot mode:
- he repeated his demand for the backstop … to be scrapped.
