Some what to expect via Westpac, via their daily FX look ahead:
- The September survey of Australian business confidence from NAB is due at 11:30am Syd/8:30am Sing/HK. The confidence index slipped to a slightly below average +4 in Aug, in part seemingly due to Australia's political leadership turmoil. But the business conditions index is a more helpful guide to economic activity, so the +15 reading in August was encouraging, well above the 25 year average of +6.
