- Commercial banks should pass on full RBA rate cut
The thing about our Prime Minister, he has sort of just assumed he would one day be PM. (As, indeed, he is). As such, he has seen himself sometimes as being above the political fray to some extent (this is all IMHO, of course). Which means he is not really much of a politician.
Maybe the close election has given him a scare 'cause these comments see him unleashing the mongrel somewhat. He is bashing the banks and the RBA. Which is always popular in Australia, it'll go down well with the tabloids.
