Sterling leads the way while surprise, surprise, the dollar is lagging
The dollar continues to slide further on the day as major currencies are extending gains against the greenback. Cable popped 1.4200 earlier and is now up to a high of 1.4228.
EUR/USD is also at session highs of 1.2452 and AUD/USD is at 0.8070. Meanwhile, USD/JPY and USD/CAD also touched session lows on the day.
It's the same old story again today as European markets are set to open momentarily. And we'll be having more comments from Davos coming as well. It's going to possibly be another volatile day by the looks of it, so strap yourselves in.
