Off lows for the major indices. 10 year yield are mostly lower (again)..
The major European stock indices are ending with mixed results and off the lows for the day:
- German DAX fell -0.5%
- France's CAC was flat
- UK's FTSE rose 0.4%
- Spain's Ibex surged 1.8%
- Italy's FTSE MIB rose 0.55%
- Portugal's PSI 20 fell -0.55%
In the 10 year note sector today yields were lowered once again:
- Germany 0.499%, -0.5 basis points
- France 0.73%, unchanged
- UK 1.362%, -5.8 basis points
- Spain 1.207%, -3.0 basis points
- Italy 1.836%, -3.9 basis points
- Portugal 1.639%, -2.8 basis points
In the NA morning session, the CAD remains the strongest (and has gotten stronger vs the start of day levels - CLICK HERE). The JPY remains the weakest with mixed results vs. the major pairs so far. The USD has moved higher and is up vs. all the major currencies with the exception of the CAD. The greenback is near unchanged vs the AUD too.
