Q4 inflation data is here, it was very ugly
- Australia Q4 Headline CPI 1.9% q/q (expected 1.6%)
- AUD/USD jumps on the higher than expected Australian CPI report
Out at the same time was the data for the month of December. Not the quarter, just the single month.
- CPI hit 8.4% in the December month, up from 7.3% in November
Its just getting uglier and uglier ....
