On Friday last week the Reuters poll showed 63 economists expected the Reserve Bank of Australia to hold rates steady at the meeting Tuesday (February 7)

- Now its 73 of 73 polled expecting on hold
- 18 see an easing by December (was 16 in the poll last Friday)
- 6 see a hike by December
