Reserve Bank of New Zealand announcement is scheduled for 0200GMT on Wednesday 8 May 2019

  • At the same time the Monetary Policy Statement will be published
  • At 0300GMT Governor Orr's news conference will begin

Following the RBA announcement yesterday (cash rate remained on hold) market pricing for a rate cut from the RBNZ has fallen, its now around 36% (OIS). The most recent info from the Bloomberg survey of analysts has 6 seeing the Bank on hold while 14 expect a cut.
