The Reserve Bank of New Zealand monetary policy announcement is coming up on:
- Thursday morning, June 28 local time.
- That will be Wednesday 27 June at 2100GMT
I posted a preview here via the Reuters survey of expectations here
Now this one, a quick comment from Daiwa on what they are watching for:
Thursday's RBNZ interim OCR review
While there is no prospect of a change in the Official Cash Rate (OCR), there will be some interest in whether the accompanying short statement indicates that the RBNZ's upbeat economic outlook has been dampened by
- recent softer-than-expected GDP data,
- continued soft business confidence readings
- and recent global worries.
The bank also with a heads up on the data due before the RBNZ statement:
- Prior to the RBNZ's announcement, Wednesday's ANZ Business Outlook Survey for June will provide an up-to-date assessment of business confidence.
- The May trade report will also be released on Wednesday.

I'll get some other RBNZ previews up prior to Thursday's (Wednesday's GMT time0 announcement
