- US interest rates have been down at zero for six years, at some point they'll have to start comiing up
- We're "pretty content" with where we are right in in terms of domestic monetary policy
- At this point one would still think that an increase in fed funds rate is probably going to happen before Christmas
- One could be concerned about the spillover effect that could come from a change in us monetary policy, not the move itself
