Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Lowe would be unlikely to admit he was targeting the currency lower - this is frowned upon amongst DM central banks.
- could increase bond buying if needed
- probability of the double dip recession is quite low
- if other central banks are doing QE the RBA has to do it to keep the AUD down
