Economists at Auckland Savings Bank (actually, the correct term is ASB. Sorta like KFC but without the fat) have revised their outlook for the official cash rate:
- Forecast 4 rate hikes over the course of 2014, each of 25bp
- Previously they had forecast 3
- They see the most likely timing as April, July and December
I would expect further accelerated forecasts today and in coming days.
