USD/JPY has been lacking direction this week and one theory is that some big options slated to expire at the top of the hour are behind the lack of movement.
More than $2.5B in options go off at 10 am ET (1500 GMT). The biggest is at 98.25 but there are also expiries at 98.00, 97.00, 98.30, 98.50, 98.85, 100.00 and 100.75.
