We like the stock is a common phrase on Reddit’s /r/wallstreetbets, /r/GME and /r/superstonk which means exactly what it claims.
It originated on January 25th, 2021, on a CNBC’s episode of Halftime Report in which pundit Jim Cramer repeatedly chanted “we like the stock” over and over again, as to display and justify why the forum’s users held positions in meme stocks.

The expression means exactly what it says and because of /r/wallstreetbets relationship with Jim Cramer, the host of Mad Money, it took no time to become popular and an inside joke, achieving thus meme status.

The “We like the stock” expression has been associated with Gamestop ($GME), AMC Entertainment ($AMC), and other meme stocks.
Current usage
The expression is commonly used by users as a way to encourage each other and, as to continue mocking Jim Cramer, as the reasoning behind one’s motivation to purchase specific securities.
“We like the stock” is also used as a rallying cry or mantra by whoever aims to gather or galvanize more people into buying the stock of a particular company, usually a heavily shorted one or, as users of /r/wallstreetbets and other similar minded subreddits claim: stocks which are “primed for a squeeze”.
