As the stock market falls on tariff and inflation fears, Pres. Trump is out saying that he had a call with Canada PM Carney and said it was "extremely productive" and that they agreed on "many things". Of course they did.
USDCAD moves closer to key support
The USDCAD has moved lower on the news with the price falling toward the rising 100 day MA and the low of the swing low area near 1.4269 (see post from earlier today) and the 38.2% retracement of the move up from the September 2024 low. All those levels come in near 1.4269.
Move below that level - and stay below - would be more bearish. Conversely, holding and the battle between the buyers and sellers continues.
