The USD ins mixed to start the NA session with the USD higher vs the EUR and GBP and lower vs the JPY. IN the video above, I will take a look at the 3 majors - the EURUSD, USDJPY and GBPUSD - from a technical perspective and outline the key levels traders should be watching today.

As a reminder, the US stock and bond market will be closing early today (1 PM and 2 PM respectively).

Stock Markets (NYSE & Nasdaq)

There has been technical problems at CME group, but the futures are now open and showing gains. The 3 major indices have been up for 4 consecutive days.

  • Dow industrial average up 76 points
  • S&P index up 9.39 points
  • NASDAQ index up 80 points

In the US debt market, yields are marginally lower

  • 2 year yield 3.472%, -0.8 basis points
  • 5 year yield 3.568%, -0.5 basis points
  • 10 year yield 3.996%, -0.2 basis points
  • 30 year yield 4.646%, +0.2 basis points
