Gold has traded in a huge range today as it blew out to a record high early in Asia before totally reversing. Now the bulls are running for cover with gold down $37. The drop has painted an ugly outside reversal candle on the daily chart.
There's still time to recover before the close but the momentum isn't promising. Expect support at $2000.
