Trend line a little higher.
The USDCAD has shot higher and is up testing the Monday high at 1.31702. A move to new week highs would look toward the trend line on the 4-hour chart above. That comes in at 1.3179. The swing high from July 24th comes in at 1.31903.
The last run higher was helped by the break back above the 200 bar MA on the 4-hour chart at 1.31094.
Looking at the hourly chart below,, the low for the day stalled right around the 200 hour MA in the Asian session (green line in the chart below). It moved above its 100 hour MA, and a broken trend line, and that helped to push the pair higher.
