USD/CAD breaks below the BOC-lows, nears another big level

The US dollar is wilting on all fronts

USD/CAD is the latest pair to hit a long-term extreme.

The pair was hammered earlier this week when the Bank of Canada raised interest rates and signaled more hikes to come.

The pair bounced yesterday but resumed the swan dive today and is now threatening the June 2016 low of 1.2655. It's just a few pips away at the moment.

Watch for stops if that level breaks.

Update: That didn't take long. The pair hit a fresh 14-month low of 1.2650.
