Nasdaq leads the way lower
The US stocks are open and the major indices are modestly lower:
- The S&P is down -2.75 points or -0.10% at 2815.90
- The NASDAQ is down 23 points for my 0.30% at 7715
- The Dow is trading above and below the unchanged line
Financials are being supported by higher rates:
- JP Morgan is $.74 or 0.64%
- Citigroup is up $.58 or 0.81%
Other winners:
- AMD is up 3.43%.
- Broadcom is up 1.63%
- Celegene i up 0.76%
- Caterpillar is up 0.67% after better earnings this morning.
Losers include
- Twitter -2.93%
- Netflix, -2.48%
- American Express -2.21%
- Intel, -.141%.
