Nasdaq is the biggest gainer in the US this week
The global stock markets were mixed in trading this week. The Nasdaq composite index rose by 0.89% and led the charge in North America. The German Dax was the global laggard - falling by 2.24% in the week. For the year the Dax is still up 16.74%. In the Asia-Pacific market the Shanghai composite index rose by 2.44%, leading the way in that region.
