NASDAQ index down about 80 points
After the weaker than expected initial jobless claims, the stock futures have moved back to the downside. The futures are now implying:
- Dow -91 points
- NASDAQ -100 points
- S&P index -16 points
The Dow had moved slightly positive ahead of the data. The NASDAQ index was down about -30 to -40 points before rotating back to the downside.
European shares are also moving lower with the German DAX now down around 1%.
