Fears about coronavirus
The US major stock indices are opening lower, but off the lowest premarket levels.
A snapshot of the major indices a few minutes into the opening are showing:
- The S&P index -10.12 points or -0.30% at 3370.04
- The NASDAQ index -34.32 points or -0.35% and 9696.85
- The Dow -109.80 points or -0.37% at 29288. 20
