Earlier pre-market gains eroded
The pre-market gains have been eroded on the back of Sec. Ross's comments on US/China.
The snapshot picture a minute or so after the opening is showing:
- The S&P indexes down -1.6 points or -0.6% at 2637.3
- The NASDAQ is up 11.37 points or +0.16% at 7036
- The Dow industrial average is down 28 points or -0.12% at 24544
US yields are lower as well:
- 2 year 2.564%, -1.8 basis points
- 10 year 2.715%, -2.5 basis points
- 30 year 3.041%, -2.0 basis points
In other markets:
- spot gold, $-.54 at $1282
- WTI crude oil futures are up $.11 or 0.21% to $52.74
- Bitcoin is trading up $24 at $3569
