Outside day brewing in WTI crude

Drop extends to 2% in test of Wednesday's low

Oil touched a fresh session low of $52.58 per barrel in the second-leg of a drop today. Stops were hit on a break of $53.00 but oil found support at $52.56, which was the low on Wednesday.

That support level will be tested if there is another big rise in drilling rigs in the Baker Hughes report. Last week showed 35 new drills in the ground.
