S&P ekes out a record close but just barely. Nasdaq record close
The major US stock indices are ending the session with small changes in an up and down session.
- The S&P index closed up 0.83 points or 0.03% at 2897.55. The high reached 2903.77. The low extended to 2893.50
- The Nasdaq closed up 12.144 points or 0.15% at 8030.03. The high reached 8046.31. The low extended to 8009.58
- The Dow clues up 14.72 points or 0.06% at 26064.36. The high reached 26122.24. Below extended to 26037.85.
The Dow, S&P and NASDAQ are all on pace for the best August since 2014. The month end will be on Friday.
