German Dax down -1.1%
The European stocks are ending the day with declines:
- German Dax fell -1.1%
- France's CAC fell -1.3%
- UK's FTSE fell -0.6%
- Spain's Ibex fell -0.2%
- Italy's FTSE MIB bucked the trend with a gains of 1.0%
In the 10 year debt sector, yields are lower in Spain, Italy and Portugal.
The Italian divergence today is on the back of reports that the Italian Economy Minister Giovanni Tria was looking to keep the budget deficit below 2 percent of output. Moreover, the Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, said that the 2019 deficit will not breach the limit set by the European Union.
