EURSUD rises to unchanged. USDJPY fall back below 102.00
The dollar has creeped lower in quiet US afternoon trading.
EURUSD
THe EURUSD moved above the days midpoint at 1.1182 and extended an extra 10 pips to the closing level from yesterday at 1.1192. A move above the close turns the day positive. In a quiet market, it may be enough to influence traders opinions.
USDJPY
The USDJPY moved below the 50% of its trading range today and that turned the buyers to sellers (see earlier post). The close from Friday was 101.78. The lows in Asian Pacific was 101.82. Look for support against those levels.
GBPUSD
The GBPUSD spent a lot of time below the 100 bar MA on the 4 hour chart (currently at 1.30704). There was a lot of time spent there but momentum could not be sustained. The price moved above the day's midpoint and and the 200 bar MA at the 1.3096-98 area and more buying entered the market. The high has peaked near 1.3120. The pair is still lower on the day on the day (closed at 1.3131).
