A bounce in the Aussie targets resistance just over the big figure
Up around 50 pips in the last hour and through 0.7700. It's been a struggle up here for most of the year and we just can't seem to hold a run above the level.

0.7720/40 is where we've hit the highs, with the odd extension higher. Really I'd want to see a sustained hold above 0.7750 at least before thinking about the possibility of really running higher. I can't see any headlines behind this move and it comes against general USD strength. I'd be wary of chasing this one and shorts can feel safe while the price remains below the 0.7720 level.
