4th record close day in a row for the S&P and Nasdaq

Nasdaq leads the way again

The S&P and the Nasdaq has closed at record levels for the 4th day in a row. The Dow is up too today but the index is still below the January 26th all time high.

  • The S&P index is closing up 16.52 points or 0.57% to 2914.04. The high reached 2916.50. The low extended to 2898.40.
  • The NASDAQ index rose 79.649 points or 0.99% to 8109.688. The high reached 8113.55. The low extended to 8042.10
  • The Dow industrial average rose by 60.55 points or 0.23% to 26124.57. The high reach 26167. The low extended to 26035. For your guide the January 26, 2018 all-time high price reached 26616.91. The index is still about 500 points from the all time high.

One of the big winners today is Amazon which rose $65.27 or 3.38% to just short of the $2000 level at $1998.09.
