Things are starting to get a bit dicey now with S&P 500 futures only seen up 13 points, or 0.2%, on the day. The high earlier in the session saw futures up by some 39 points, or 0.7%. Dow futures have turned flat and Nasdaq futures have also cut gains to just 0.4% on the day. So, that puts the price action into context as we look towards US trading in a couple of hours' time.
The Friday rebound owed much to a story that has been weaving in and out of the headlines for some months now. So, that's one strike against Nvidia and the whole basis of the bounce. For now, Nvidia shares are seen up marginally by 0.3% in pre-market. As for the rest of the market landscape, I shared some food for thought about that earlier here.
