This follows from the mixed showing yesterday, in which German and French stocks fell but Spanish and Italian stocks posted gains. Wall Street was more positive though but the advance was largely contained to tech shares. But ahead of the Fed later today and Trump's meeting with Xi tomorrow, the market mood remains optimistic. US futures are seen higher with S&P 500 futures up 0.3% on the day.
