European stocks look set for a strong open as optimism for a US-EU trade deal is helping to underpin sentiment. Trump tried to play up some hopes on that overnight and that's permeating across markets right now. As for broader risk sentiment, tech shares are looking buoyed after Alphabet's strong earnings beat is helping to overshadow Tesla's shortcomings (again). S&P 500 futures are up 0.1% with Nasdaq futures up 0.3% currently.
