European stocks hold higher at the open in final stretch of the week

The mood music is helped by gains in Wall Street yesterday as well, albeit marginal. US futures are continuing to hold up as well, with S&P 500 futures seen higher by 0.2% as we get the session underway. No non-farm payrolls, no problem.
