The broader US stock indices closed at record levels on Friday. Today they opened higher to new records, but have rtraced some of those gains in early trading:
- The S&P index traded as high as 6195.34 up 22.25 points, but has rotated back down to 6188 up 15 points or 0.26%.
- The NASDAQ index traded as high as 20378.31 up 104.85 points, but currently trades at 20328 up 55 points or 0.27%.
- The Dow industrial average is up 170 points or 0.39% at 43989. Its all-time high price is still higher at 45073.63
