ON Taiwan:
- China fiercely opposes Taiwan independence and the interference of external forces
- Those who play with fire get burnt
- US should abide by One China principle, and act in line with its words
Meanwhile from the US perspective, Biden told Xi:
- The US stance on One China policy remains unchanged (according to China's Global Times)
Not exactly warm fuzzy feelings between the two global powers.
