The many mutations of omicron will cause problems in treating the outbreak. However other treatment courses appear to be working in South Africa and the best news of all is that treatment doesn't appear to be needed at all for the vast majority of cases.
What I haven't seen yet are reports from seniors care homes on outbreaks and results.
