EUROPEAN SESSION
In the European session, we don't have much on the agenda other than the Spanish trade balance that won't change anything for the markets or the ECB.
The focus remains mainly on the US-Iran war as we enter the fourth week of the conflict. The risk sentiment is very negative amid inflation and rate hike fears that will ultimately impact growth.
AMERICAN SESSION
In the American session, we don't have anything on the agenda, so the markets will continue to trade based on the prevailing sentiment and any US-Iran headline.
Trump issued an ultimatum over the weekend for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or face strikes on key infrastructure. The ultimatum is set to expire this late evening, so that will keep traders on edge.
