It's going to be kind of a synthetic Sunday in terms of data releases as we don't have anything on the agenda today. Markets are in a positive mood this morning after the Senate voted 60–40 to advance a bill.
Eight Senate Democrats joined the Republican majority in backing the stopgap deal, which would fund the government through January 30 and resume payments to states. With the reopening we should get the key reports before the next FOMC meeting including the NFP and CPI.
